FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

  • What should I expect?  You've booked your portrait session! Now what? Don't worry. I am here to guide you through the entire process from start to finish. Prior to your session we will have a phone or email consultation to workout the details and to ensure all of your questions have been answered.

  • How long will the session last?  Session times vary, but an average session lasts anywhere between 60 and 90 mins..

  • What happens if I need to reschedule?  We can reschedule up to one time in the case of an emergency/non weather related reasons. Rescheduling will be for the next available date. Please keep in mind that availability is limited, so the next available date may not be for a few weeks or longer.

  • Why is my retainer non-refundable?  Once a date is reserved it can no longer be used for another client, therefore retainers are non-refundable. Retainers are transferable for up to 90 days.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?  I accept payment via HoneyBook, Square or Zelle.

  • What happens if it rains or the weather doesn't cooperate?  If we agree to shoot outside, weather plays an important role in natural light/outdoor photography. Unfortunately, I have no control over the weather,  if we happen to get rained out we will reschedule for the next available date If I forsee inclement weather,  I will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule or we can shoot in one of my preferred studio locations.

  • Where will we take our photos?  I have my favorite studios in the Raleigh/Durham and Hampton Roads area to choose from, however I am always up for trying new locations if you have suggestions.  I prefer to shoot in studio, but I will shoot outdoors as well.  And soon, we will have our very own brick and mortar studio!
