Hi!  I’m Casha, a portrait photographer based in Durham, North Carolina. My work blends timeless elegance with a modern edge, specializing in creating striking visuals that captivate and tell compelling stories.  I am passionate about working with clients and professionals who seek polished, sophisticated imagery —whether it's executive headshots or high-end, glamorous portrait sessions.  My goal is to deliver exceptional results that reflect the quality & uniqueness of each individual or brand.

Inspired by the philosophy of portrait photographer Platon, I strive to find a visual language that is pure and essential.  "If it’s necessary, it’s in there.  If it’s not necessary, it’s not there.  So, strip it down, simplify it.  Just go for the core."  This approach guides me to create powerful, minimalistic images that focus on the essence of my subjects.

Beyond photography, I aspire to expand my expertise into directing and cinematography.  My aim is to bring a classic, minimalist eye to visual storytelling through independent films and documentaries, continuing to explore the core of each narrative I tell.
